Abstract: THE IMPACT OF ETHICAL POLICIES ON CORPORATE REPUTATION
This research aims to evaluate the impact of ethical policies on corporate reputation. Objectives are to determine the key ethical policies that influence corporate reputation, measure the direct effects of these policies, and explore the long-term benefits for organizations. The study employs a survey design, ideal for gathering data from a broad respondent base. Using Taro Yamane's formula, the sample size is set at 360 respondents, ensuring a 5% margin of error. The study focuses on the financial services sector in Lagos, a critical area for corporate ethics. The reliability coefficient score for the survey is 0.89, indicating high reliability. Results show that strong ethical policies significantly enhance corporate reputation, leading to increased customer trust and loyalty. The study recommends that companies should prioritize ethical standards and transparency to maintain and enhance their reputations.
